Deepwood (by Mechanimal) is an immersive online experience that transforms live environmental data into a meditative audio journey through woodland. Ambient sound shifts in real time with weather, season, and time of day — creating a breathing, responsive portrait of a living forest.
The project sits at the intersection of environmental data, spatial audio, and regenerative design — using technology to reconnect people with natural rhythms rather than to distract from them.
The work
Design and interaction research into the experience layer — how data becomes sensation, and how the interface steps back far enough to let the forest come forward. An ongoing collaboration with Mechanimal.
Technology that informs without overwhelming, acts in the periphery, and respects the limits of human attention.
